It is truly one of the truest quotes I live by. I believe we attract what our minds aspire to. As simple as, when we’re happy, good things come by. When we’re being negative, then bad things are everything that we see. It’s about seeing things in a different perspective, with a brighter note.

I wanted to try this post as a reminder for myself to never underestimate the power of positive thinking.

Yes, this post is also about my wedding shoes. And how I came to acquire them.

Kanebo Chrono Beauty – Japanese Skincare at its best

Last year, I got the chance to try out Kanebo’s newest line of skincare called Chrono Beauty. This line speaks to my heart as someone who appreciates the importance of maintaining a good, solid skincare routine. Because after all, healthy skin requires a long-term commitment. And of course, I’m partial to Japanese skincare.

Just a heads up, I absolutely adore this line and I’m really relieved that I finally can write down my thoughts about the line and the products I’ve tried. Some of the products have been an integral part of my routine, including prepping my skin for our big day last November.

I received many inquiries and updates about Country & Stream Honey Eye Roll-on ever since I posted it on my Instagram during my Japan trip. Even though I’ve only used it for just two months, I’m eager to say a thing or two about it!

It’s uncalled for. If you know me, I don’t make a review on any skincare that quickly, usually just first impressions. But this is a once-in-a-blue-moon situation we’ve got here.

Then I remembered about all the other conversations I had with different people talking about this particular topic. It’s not necessarily a subject that we often discuss publicly but I am sure many people have their own opinions about this.

BeautyAssistant, or we know them with other titles such as Beauty Advisor, Sales Assistant/Advisor/Consultant, or abbreviated as BA or SA. Yep, you’d probably have an idea where I’m going with this.

Parado Nail Foundation – My Nails But Better

When you go to Japan, there’s no way that you wouldn’t stop by one of its myriad convenience stores. They’re available in every few blocks, how can we not notice? During our recent Japan trip, we entered at least one every day, mostly to get some food for breakfast, snacks, drinks or anything that might catch our eyes.

Some convenience stores also carry few makeup products. You know, my eyes usually went straight for it whenever I see one. *chuckle* There is one particular purchase that made me really happy because it’s like finding a gem (for me who likes nail polishes). And that is ParaDo Nail Foundation.

Sapporo – Where Everything is Covered in Snow

Ever since we traveled to Japan for the first time in 2016, we’ve always wanted to go back. There was no doubt in our minds that when we get married, we will have our honeymoon there. In all honesty, we were very laid back on this trip. We’ve actually just booked the hotels and finish other arrangements (pocket wifi, JR pass, etc) a week before our departure, though we have set an itinerary, sort of.

The first city that we chose is Sapporo!

We departed from Jakarta to Tokyo (Haneda), before continuing our flight to Sapporo. The trick here was we had to change from international to domestic terminal. We picked up our baggage, boarded the airport bus then dropped them off at the transit counter and were set to go.

Except, there was a delay with the flight. A two hour one. We grabbed something to eat at the airport because it was getting late, we were hungry and tired. The flight took about 1 1/2 hour and we’re glad we did eat because as it turned out, there were no meals provided; just water and a packet of snack. The flight had a little bit of turbulence too. Whew, what a start!
