The Good and The Forbidden
If you remember, I did this Red on Red Tonal Look utilizing red lipstick as an eyeliner. That wasn’t a good move because my eyes ended up being uncomfortable after several hours. Of course, that was just a pure, albeit high-risk experiment. I did say I will get an actual red eyeliner though.
And I did. *whoop whoop*

Well, well, well. Whaddya know, Indonesia, Jakarta specifically, is making some more improvements by adding two numbers in the beauty brand portfolio. Those two are THREE and Illamasqua. In this post, I’ll be only covering the one that I’m most interested in, which is THREE.
Ever since I read this news, I’ve been anxiously waiting for the brand to launch. There’s a story, after I read that article, I went to Central the next day. And to my disappointment, the brand was nowhere to be found. What irked me the most was the fact that the Information people pointed me the direction and I ended up walking up and down trying to find the counter. After asking them again, finally they told me that the counter will be open by February/March 2015. Oh well.. So much for my excitement.
Anyway, that’s old story. What matters the most is that the brand is here. Are you ready? I know I am!
It all started when @caroleinne tagged me to do a #redlipstickweek on Instagram. Basically, just choose and post 7 best red lipsticks that we have. Because it was done in December 2014, I thought it’s quite appropriate to have a holiday theme in mind.

Who doesn’t know Kate Spade, the brand where all things are pretty, preppy, vibrant and occasionally cheeky with its wordings. From just selling handbags, it has become a full-blown lifestyle brand with its offerings in fashion, stationery, home decor and now branching out to beauty.
It was just a harmless browsing session to Kate Spade’s website after I got an email about one of its quite-regular sales. The website is just well designed, very attractive and easy to navigate around. So, it wasn’t that long for me to browse everything. Until, I glanced over at this lipstick, got inquisitive and then proceeded to do a little bit of investigation on Google *where else*
In short, I snatched one up.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. I kept pushing it back, not because I couldn’t find the right words (OK, maybe I did have a wee bit of hard time), but more over, it’s because I’ve been enjoying this cleanser a LOT. By “a lot” means, I’m this close of finishing it up!
It is no secret that I love Sunday Riley skincare products. I would gladly try all of her products because I know they work, at least the ones that I’ve tried.

It’s finally here!
Marc Jacobs Beauty finally arrives at Sephora Indonesia. It’s quite unexpected that it didn’t take that long for the brand to come here since it just launched on Sephora US on August 2013. As you might know, we usually get things late here in almost everything, or didn’t get any at all. There’s a good reason for that, Marc Jacobs Beauty is produced by the beauty mecca retailer. Logically, the brand naturally is one step ahead with a clearer, easier path in expanding to different countries.
I’m honored to be invited to the brand’s official launch last week. I got to understand a little bit better about the beauty line while having some hands-on experience with some of the offerings.
