LoTW: Burberry Lip Velvet Military Red

♫ It’s the most wonderful time of the year.. ♫ ♪

Ooh yeah, I get to enjoy every little bit of Christmas whenever possible/available. The music, the decorations and installations are some of the things I wait for every year. Well, I could never get enough of Christmas songs so I usually play them from time to time. Same goes with wearing red lipsticks. While I can certainly sport them everyday, wearing them on the holidays feels so much more special.

Enter, the one that blew me away, Burberry Lip Velvet Military Red.

I’m getting more and more encouraged to be more playful with my eye makeup lately. First and foremost, I’m not that skilled with it and secondly, I’m just too comfortable with my neutrals. Both combined, I’m stuck with one (or two) neutral eye shadows during a makeup routine. That being said, I can’t get my eyes off of the beautiful eye shadow offerings in multitude of shades. So, I (kinda) promised at myself that I will at least give a little more effort every now and then (more on the now), so I can justify the purchases of these more colorful items.

And here’s one of those efforts..

DiorShow Liner Waterproof Plum – Happy Accident

Once upon a time, I was waiting for a DiorShow Art Pen in Cruise Blue to come into my mail. I was really excited when I got my package. However, half-opening the package, I knew something wasn’t right. My guess was true, I was sent a wrong item. I was a little bit disappointed but that disappeared quickly because the mistakenly-sent item was actually on my list-to-get after the blue liner. So, is it a yay? YAY, indeed.

I love my Burberry Lip Covers and I wear them a lot. They are my go-to lipsticks. It has been about a couple of years since Burberry Beauty launched the Lip Velvet collection. While I initially got really excited about these, turned out, I never got around to get them! Blame the never-ending lemmings. Well, I finally did and this will be my first review.

Burberry Warm Glow Natural Bronzer No.01 – A Warm Veil for The Complexion

If you follow me on Female Daily, you would know that I have a deep affinity to Burberry Beauty. The UK brand remains to be one of my favorite beauty brands of all time. In my opinion, Burberry is one of the few fashion brands that managed to do a beauty line successfully. The collection and the execution is truly in line with Burberry’s image of effortless and timeless beauty.

Quite a while ago, I managed to do a bit of Burberry haul (here and there). I was ecstatic that I got a free GWP of a full-sized Burberry Warm Glow. It’s the one product I’ve been meaning to try ever since I landed on my first Burberry products a couple of years ago. YAY!
